John, you said you can't get it with a 6th gear. Is that no 6th at all, or manual 6th? Tell you the truth, I use 6th quite often.
The Duneable Sheefreak has is the original style. (it can wear the shift forks over time) It was a race cut override with springs on the shift forks to keep pressure on them so they didn't jump out of gear. This "EXTREME" (and it has to be called "EXTREME" to be the one I'm talking about) has different cuts (it still acts like a race cut override) but the springs are on the gears instead of the shift forks. That way the forks only see load when shifting (just like a stock trans) You can backload it as hard as you would a stocker. It's the ultimate trans....stock strength with override upshifts AND downshifts. But don't be confused....Unless they are a WCR dealer....they don't have THIS duneable override. It HAS to be the new EXTREME DUNEABLE OVERRIDE from WCR. Because he puts springs between the gears, he has to remove 6th gear. So you can't get 6th. But unless you NEED 6th you can just adjust your gearing so you won't miss 6th. I was only using first for about a bike length before shifting....every launch on dirt or sand was in second...so I took out the first gear and went with the neutral down. So now all the way down is neutral and one click up is second. He said withour first gear in the trans the tranny is stronger overall because of the overall gear sizes. But you CAN get it with 1st gear and if you do you should be able to run one more tooth up front and almost never miss 6th. But you would know your gear needs better than me....

Incorrect. There is more to a dunable than just springs between the forks.
I have the same tranny.
The problem is people saw dunable override and they thought that meant "trail" override...and it doesn't.
The dunables don't really wear the forks out if backloaded, they score the shaft and cause the area the fork rides on to "groove" into the gear shaft.
On one hand, I want to get an Extreme just to see how different it is (for those that run ice, 1/8 mile or 1/4 mile 6th gear opens up more options and makes it easier for smaller motors to pull gearing they need)...however, I'm in the same boat as sheefreak.
I have the same 1-5 N down dunable going on it's 4th year of abuse, same forks....and it still shifts like butter.
I really can't justify fixing what ain't broke....and I only run 300 feet, so 2-5 is all I need.
I would also suggest you find one of his dealers that has it on their shelf.
WCR does cut a nice tranny. His speed, communication and turn around times are not the greatest, as said.

I have a 1-5, only need 2-5 but...it doesn't cost any extra and if you run a longer distance and need to run tall gearing, you can use first!

It's being called the Extreme Transmission and I'm pretty sure it has all 6 gears.
However...I am not for 100% certain on that, and Andy @ M&M could probably answer that.
He had some of the firsts, I believe...and probably has the most use/time on them.
