how do you know if you have too much oil mixed in your alky ?
what would be the signs ???
bogging ?
slower revs?
etc ?????

More oil makes more power (to a point), as well as a leaner running engine verses less oil with the same jetting.
You would need to have a LOT more oil to see a negative inpact on performance. Going from 50/1 to 20/1 is not considered to much oil IMO. Not that I would run either 50/1 or 20/1 in a Methanol mix.

Thats alot of oil, we normally do 5oz to a gal 28:1, with no issues, great cleanout, no bogging, etc.

I dump a quart in 5 gals. Or if I measure I run 24 to one.

32-1 to 28-1 helps a fat guy get out the hole.

One quart to five gallons is 20/1. A ratio right cup is the best way to mix fuel. I run 28/1

I use ratio rite cup.. 24:1 and mix 5 gallons at a time... but still playing with the ratio.

32oz in 5 gallon is 6.5 oz to a gallon.....doesnt sound too bad..
