Im new to this site and I wanna know what the better setup between a 68mm 4mil cub vs. A 73mm 4mil cheetah both on alcohol

they both will run about the same fully tuned in

I'm looking for a good all around motor for 300ft and for the asphalt between the cub and the cheetah

That depends on who is building it/porting it. Also depends on what you are going to do with the engine. A 4mil crank is only so heavy and can only give you so much torque. So if you are running flat, then great! If you are hillshooting, then I would spring the extra buck and get a reputable builder on my team ASAP! The porting and tuning that is done on the engine will be what sets you apart. Not the size of the engine.

both are fun motors.

on street id say a pv cheeta could be tuned to work better beter launch tq for sure.
unless i'm writing a BOOK and YOUR paying me i dont have to tell you nothin

O ok so how good would the cheetah work in the dirt are would I be better off just getting a 10mil cub built

dude, motors and bikes are CHEAP right now.......you would be better to buy a bike done than to build a motor for the same price. what experience do you have right now with racing atv's? that will also give others a better idea of what to reccomend you. what have your ridden in the past? what kind of chassis set ups, etc?
