I ran accross a new place to ride in Sour Lake, TX. Its call the the mud farm. www.themudfarm.com It have 250 acre of trail riding, a mud pit, and most importantly a sand drag. I talked to Erik, one of guys who runs it, and they plan on running an atv only race every other month starting in FEB. They are also trying to run a News Year Eve event but its not for sure yet. Check web site for events. The sand track did look very nice and actually had sand mixed into it. He said they did have a light system but prolly not as fancy as a big time drag strip but it did give times. It give us another place to ride within an or so from the house. I hope to see some of yall out there when they open up.

That place looks pretty cool. That area is well known for mudriding but its good to see they have sand drags too. Post up any events they have or invite them to post here on the site.
Until the sand flies.....your just blowin smoke.

Glad you found this place Darrel. I'm looking forward to racing there whenever they hold their next event.
